ARTOPIA

Platform rules

This is a complete translation of the German legal information. If interpretations differ, the German version is authoritative.

1. Our principle

ARTOPIA is open to different art forms, biographies, perspectives and levels of experience. Artistic freedom ends where the rights, dignity or safety of others are violated.

2. Honest profiles and offers

  • Use your real name, stage name, or legally represented organization.
  • Describe your experience, availability, performance and salary in a comprehensible manner.
  • Only use media to which you have the necessary rights.
  • Label AI-generated or significantly AI-edited content if otherwise it would give a false impression about authorship or performance.
  • Do not publish third-party contact, contract or payment details.

3. Respect and safety

In particular, threats, harassment, hate speech, discriminatory degradation, sexual assault, fraud, identity deception, dangerous performance conditions and calls for unlawful behavior are not permitted.

Organizers must be transparent about safety, accessibility and working conditions. Artists must identify special technical or safety-related requirements at an early stage.

4. Fair reviews

  • Only evaluate a collaboration that actually took place or a verifiable booking process.
  • Separate facts from personal perception.
  • No insults, threats or confidential details.
  • No evaluation for money, discounts or as a means of pressure.
  • Conflicts of interest must be disclosed.

5. Copyright, privacy protection and minors

Works, photos, music, videos, names and brands may only be published with sufficient rights. Recognizable persons must have consented to the extent required or the publication must otherwise be legally permissible. Content involving minors is checked particularly strictly.

6. Report illegal or irregular content

Until a structured reporting form is introduced, substantiated information can be provided post@artopia.de be sent. The exact location, an understandable explanation, the rights affected and a contact option for questions are helpful.

7. Review, Decision and Appeal

Reports are examined carefully, promptly and impartially. Depending on the severity, notice, correction, visibility restriction, removal, temporary suspension or account closure may be considered. Those affected are generally informed about important decisions and reasons.

Automated tools are allowed to provide clues, but do not make a final, onerous decision without intended human review. With the launch of the platform, an easily accessible internal complaints procedure will be set up.

8. Repeated abuse

Repeated serious violations, fraudulent bookings, manipulated reviews or patently abusive reports may, upon prior review, lead to temporary or permanent restrictions.
