ARTOPIA

Accessibility

This is a complete translation of the German legal information. If interpretations differ, the German version is authoritative.

Our claim

People should be able to use ARTOPIA as independently as possible, regardless of device, physical requirements or assistive technology. Design and artistic expression can remain alive without making access to information and functions unnecessarily difficult.

Already implemented

  • semantic headings and comprehensible document structure
  • Jump link to main content
  • Keyboard usability of navigation and contact links
  • Alternative texts or decoratively hidden decorative graphics
  • strong contrasts and clearly visible buttons
  • responsive display for smartphone, tablet and desktop
  • reduced movements with appropriate system settings
  • no auto-starting audio or video content
  • locally loaded brand motifs and scripts

Known boundaries

The historic rainbow ice cream and the original ARTOPIA lettering contain writing as part of an image motif. The meaning of the content is therefore also conveyed via alternative texts or accessible link labels. Historical event photos sometimes only have the resolution available at the time; The main image message is described in alternative texts. A full test with different screen readers and magnification levels is still pending.

Report barrier

If content or functions are not accessible, please let us know post@artopia.de. The affected page, the device or aid used and a short description are helpful.

Before the platform launch

Profile creation, search, booking, reviews, reporting system and payment are checked separately for keyboard operability, focus guidance, error messages, contrasts, understandable language and compatibility with assistive technology before they are activated. The requirements of the Accessibility Strengthening Act and the possible classification of the specific business model will be re-evaluated before going live.
